Vingroup shakes hands with Bosch Vietnam

Vingroup and Bosch Vietnam will enter comprehensive co-operation in manufacturing motorcycles and automobiles of the Vinfast brand.

Bosch subscribes to Vingroup's dream of a 'Made in Vietnam' automobile brand

On October 12, representatives of Vingroup and Bosch Vietnam signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU), marking an important milestone between the two parties, according to information published on Vingroup’s website.

According to the MoU, Bosch Vietnam will supply parts and components to Vinfast’s automobiles. Besides, it will advise and support Vinfast to implement software for motorcycles and automobiles as well as business management.

Furthermore, Bosch Vietnam will supply solutions to develop a smart campus for Vinfast’s automobile and motorbike manufacturing complex, including solutions on smart security, connected mobility, smart operation, and energy management, connected industry consultancy and deployment.

With experience in training skilled employees, Bosch Vietnam, which spent $1 million training human resources, will support Vinfast to build a vocational training centre.

According to Vinfast, this new centre will offer training in mechanical and electronic engineering, meeting German standards to build a skilled staff to operate modern manufacturing lines.

Especially, Vingroup will co-operate with Bosch Vietnam to study the world’s leading technologies to apply in Vinfast’s automobile models.

“With the comprehensive co-operation via supplying both hardware and software solutions to Vinfast, Bosch Vietnam confirms its ambition to help Vinfast realise the dream of ‘Made in Vietnam’ automobiles,” said Guru Mallikarjuna, managing director of Bosch Vietnam.
